MAX On Call for Multifamily

[Releases 8.31.27]

Give every call a path forward, with the visibility to follow it through. MAX On Call now gives property management companies managing multifamily portfolios more flexibility to handle calls from anyone in a unit, not just the leaseholder.

Instead of turning away callers who can’t be verified against a lease, teams can authenticate callers by unit or property, route non-maintenance calls where they belong, and keep a record of every call outcome.

What’s new:

  • Unit & Property Authentication — authenticate callers based on their unit or property instead of requiring a leaseholder match
  • Non-Maintenance Call Routing — recognize non-maintenance requests and route them back to the appropriate call tree
  • Call Log Reporting — keep a record of every call and its outcome for greater visibility

PMO IMPACT:

Improves Intake Quality & Coordinator Capacity

What your team should know:

These updates are part of MAX On Call for multifamily customers and may change how your team approaches maintenance call coverage. If you’re evaluating MAX On Call or want to understand how these changes apply to your portfolio, reach out to your CSM.

Technician Mobile App

Message Center

Message Center arrived in the Tech App on August 12th, giving technicians one place to view, manage, and respond to every maintenance conversation.

Instead of opening Melds one by one or switching to mobile web, techs can find every conversation, reply, and update from one centralized inbox.

What’s new:

  • One inbox — every Meld’s messages in one place, instead of opening each Meld individually to check for updates
  • Smart filters — jump straight to assigned chats or a running list of every mention, narrow either to unread only
  • Linked context — every message connects directly back to its originating Meld details
  • Templates and AI-assisted drafting — techs can respond faster with built-in message templates and AI assistance right in the conversation
  • Instant push notifications — real-time notifications take techs directly to the relevant conversation

PMO IMPACT:

Increases Technician Throughput & Reduces Communication Delays

What your team should know:

A new Message Center tab will appear automatically in the Tech App’s bottom navigation. No setup is required on your end. Techs will see a one-time pop-up the next time they launch the app, and if they dismiss it, Message Center will apply automatically the next time they close and reopen the app.

More resources:

  • Download the flyer: a printable flyer with the Tech App download link, ready to post around your office
  • Visit the Help Center: full details on how Message Center works, and answers to common questions.

Meld Search & Navigation

Spend less time working through records and more time acting on them. Search, filter, and sort are now available across the pages where teams find and manage records, giving them a consistent way to narrow down what they need.

Whether you’re looking for one specific record or trying to identify a group of records, teams can now search, filter, and sort from the same familiar set of tools.

What’s new:

  • Search — go directly to the record you’re looking for
  • Filters — narrow a list to the records that meet your criteria
  • Sorting — arrange records based on the information that matters most

PMO IMPACT:

Improves Coordinator Efficiency & Operational Visibility

What your team should know:

These capabilities are available automatically on supported pages. No setup is required. More pages coming soon.
