Residents can no longer select 6pm – 8pm maintenance times, when creating a Meld.
No more after-hours issues caused by evening maintenance appointments! We received a lot of requests to remove the 6pm – 8pm time option from the resident scheduling selection, so maintenance can now happen during regular business hours, in the event of problems arising during the scheduled work.
Added file upload step (optional) to the resident Meld creation flow.
In an effort to provide you and your vendors/techs with as many details as possible, residents submitting Melds will now be prompted to upload photos, videos, or other files before they pick a scheduled time. This can help vendors/techs identify what type of tools will be needed before they arrive on site.
Residents can be notified of recurring Melds.
When creating a recurring Meld, you can select whether or not you’d like the residents to be notified for each generated Meld.
In your Buildium account, set the “Maintenance Request Redirect” link to https://app.propertymeld.com
[Buildium Users] Buildium’s mobile app maintenance request redirect link will release on November 14.
Enabling this setting within Buildium will send your residents to Property Meld for maintenance requests, so you don’t have requests coming through Buildium.
Updates to the vendor experience
Vendor notification of Meld cancellation by resident
Assigned vendors are now notified by email when a resident requests Meld cancellation. This should save some unnecessary trips for issues that are already resolved.
Auto-populated forms for integrated vendors
When vendors linked to Propertyware, Buildium, and Rent Manager go to register, the forms will populate with their info from the integration rather than requiring manual entry. This should encourage more vendors to complete registration.
Mobile App for Vendors
Property Meld is officially more accessible to your vendors via their mobile phones! We’ve created a “Progressive Web Application” that can be downloaded and bookmarked to their phone’s home screen. It is an improved app like experience, including full-screen mode and access to device features like camera and location. The app is live now, and vendors will begin seeing the option to download.
